Mary Taylor Wine in store Weds., May 15th!!

We have a MUST ATTEND event for you this Wednesday with Mary Taylor Wine, run by a woman who I’ve been trying to get in here for over two years, since I first met her at the shop when she came through town. I immediately had it in my head, and told her local rep, that we have to do an event here next time she comes to Portland. Well, “next time” has finally come as she’s at long last made it back and we’ve got her! Mary Taylor, besides being incredibly engaging, enthusiastic, and knowledgable, is doing extraordinarily great things for wine drinkers through her eponymously named wine import company. She set out several years ago to travel to various European wine regions to find small scale, family run producers who are making great wines but are too small scale to get representation. Her other main emphasis was to find wines she can bring to the U.S. that are priced so everyone can enjoy them.

I’ve tasted through her wines several times over the intervening years and am always struck by how pure and unmanipulated they are. Always well made (and, yes, well priced), they truly speak to their various origins and especially about the winemakers who produce them. I know you’ll enjoy meeting Mary and tasting through this delicious array of grape based beverages. We’ll be pouring eight different wines and the cost is approximately zero! And as always at our supplier events there are special “night of the tasting” discounts to be had on all the wines being poured. This is a drop-in tasting, so stop by anytime. Details as follow:
