FREE Weekend Wine Tasting

UnknownPre-Turkey Day weekend is upon us, so perhaps time to start thinking what sort of liquid relief you’ll need when the family descends and sends you scurrying for the nearest corkscrew!  The Boy Scouts weren’t just wasting their breath when they said “We’re don’t like homosexu….”… Oh wait, I meant when they said “Be prepared”. Taking their sage advice to heart, and following up on Wednesday’s E-Special extravaganza, we have some pretty tasty options to consider. That is why all weekend we’ll be showing them off and making sure the wine part of your menu is up to the task. If I have enough left we’ll be showing the ’10 Gachot-Monot Burgundy, but at this point not too hopeful. Even without that we have some awesome bottles that will make everyone happy, I promise. -2012 SOBON ESTATE Zinfandel “Fiddletown” $20.95…I know I pimped the “Old Vine” bottling hard yesterday and gave a passing mention to this one. But darn it, you deserve the best, right??!
-2011 FIORENZO NADA Nebbiolo Langhe $17.95
-2012 PASCAL AUFRANC Chenas “1939″ $14.95
-2012 EOS Petite Sirah “Lodi” $8.95…an extra red to consider, because a couple bottles in you want something delicious that won’t blow the budget.
-2011 PHILLIPE RAVIER Roussanne “Chignin Bergeran” $11.95….you should be drinking this white. Not just Thanksgiving Day, but every freaking day! A personal favorite.
