FREE Weekend Wine Tasting

Ber_11KVCab_label_750_FFirst off, NO Sunday tasting this week! In honor of the fact that approximately 150 million fellow Americans will be watching the Super Bowl, and also the not small incidental detail that I am taking the VINO girls out on our post-holiday dinner at 3 Doors Down Saturday night and who knows how we’ll be faring come Sunday, we will give everyone a well earned/needed day of rest just as He intended.
Which means for you lucky drinkers I will be here in store Saturday from 11:00-6:00 making up for that closure by pouring a few items that will definitely be worth putting on your weekend “to do” lists. Of course the VINO Value Case #29 will be representing, and I am also pulling out for you lovers of great California cabernet at superb prices (which is a statement you almost never hear) an absolute classic that blows me away every time I’ve had it recently. Much to look forward to as you can see….
-2012 BERINGER Cabernet Sauvignon “Knights Valley” $24.95*…
90 pts-Antonio Galloni/Vinousmedia: “Especially deep and powerful in this vintage. Smoke, game, incense, leather, pomegranate, spice and red cherries are some of the many notes that inform this striking Cabernet from Sonoma’s Knights Valley, a fertile hunting ground for savory, mineral-driven wines full of character.”; 90 pts-Wine Spectator: “Deceptively complex, with ripe red and dark berry, floral and peppery spice notes. The creamy, supple texture invites drinking now through 2023.”
*- btw…
we have been able to cut a deal that makes our VINO price approximately $5 off what you will see it for around town!
-2010 ALTO REAL Bullas Roble $9.95
-2012 VIGNERONS DE SAUMUR Rouge “les Pouches” $10.95
-2012 NOTRE DAME DE LAVAL Cotes du Roussillon $9.95
